Before installing AVG please see the article How to prepare your computer for installation of AVG.

To install AVG 2013 on your computer:

  1. Go to www.free.avg.com/download.
  2. Click on the product you want to install, and then click Download.
  3. If you are asked whether to run or save the file, select Save or Save as. We recommend to download the file to your Desktop.
  4. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation process.
  5. Follow the instructions on your screen and when prompted, insert your AVG license number. We recommend to use the copy&paste method.
  6. Complete the installation and restart your computer when prompted.

Your computer will now be protected by AVG.
