In case you are using some third party firewall or a software that is checking network traffic (e.g. content filters, parental control, etc.), you need to allow communication of the following AVG Free processes to allow its full functionality:

  • avgcmgr.exe
  • avgcsrvx.exe (32bit)
  • avgcsrva.exe (64bit)
  • avgemc.exe
  • avgiproxy.exe
  • avgrsx.exe (32bit)
  • avgrsa.exe (64bit)
  • avgscanx.exe (32bit)
  • avgscana.exe (64bit)
  • avgtray.exe
  • avgui.exe
  • avgmfapx.exe
  • avgwdsvc.exe

In some programs, firewalls or proxy servers, you might need to specify the list of 'safe' Internet addresses to prevent limited or blocked access of AVG to the update servers and to other servers ensuring correct functioning of AVG. In such case, please allow the following URLs:

  • bguru.avg.cz
  • af.avg.com
  • aa.avg.com
  • stubfree.avg.com
  • stubsals.avg.com
  • fpl90-af.avg.com
  • fpl80-af.avg.com
  • pupdate-af.avg.com
